Our half day tours take in the joy of Albany's Coastline with a sail across King George Sound to Oyster Harbour where we anchor for a while to enjoy coffee, tea and scrummy loca...l food. We can even customise a voyage to accommodate your dreams. You will have the opportunity to steer "Panacea" and adjust the sails or simply sit back and relax. Description
Southern Ocean Sailing is based in Albany, on the South coast of Western Australia.
Our passion is sailing but most importantly introducing people to the wonders of the oceans.
Our "fleet" includes a Beneteau 12m Luxury/Race Yacht and a Hunter 260.
We have experience sailing the oceans of the world. From the ice of Antarctica, around Cape Horn to the Northern Atlantic and all oceans between.
Our ocean knowledge provides for a terrific journey whether ocean or coastal sailing.

We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
Albany Visitors Centre applies a cancellation fee of $50 to all cancelled bookings

Come down to the Albany Waterfront Marina. Enjoy a coffee, if you wish, at Haz Beanz then come sailing with us.
Our meeting place is in front of the Albany Boat Shed. The Port end of the Marina!

Beautiful and unique tour of Albany's harbours
Mark was a very informative and entertaining host, with a wealth of knowledge about the area and sailing. We were able to have a crack at sailing his yaught as well! The three hours went too quick and we left with a full itinery of things to do and see in Albany. Dont hesitate to take this sail, it was our highlight of the trip!Best sailing experience!
My friend and I did the half day tour with Mark and it was the best tour I’ve done in a long time! Neither of us had ever sailed a yacht before and Mark was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, the history and his yacht. Getting to steer the yacht and seeing dolphins playing under the hull as we sailed along to Emu Point will be two memories we’ll never forget! We had a great day listening to Mark’s adventurous stories and sailing along Albany’s beautiful bays. Would 100% recommend to anyone! THANKS MARK!Beautiful day out in Albany
My friend and I had a absolutely wonderful day out on the waters of Albany with Captain Mark and skipper Jen on the Southern Ocean Sailing boat. I have been in Albany for a five week break from Perth and as much as I loved Albany the day sailing with these guys was the best. Highly recommended experience.
