Description

Speed Grazing is a trade marked concept created by the award-winning Taste Bud Tours. Kitty, Barry or one of their dedicated staff take small groups of 6-16 guests on a journey of discovery, visiting 10 of the region’s most delicious venues, with a focus on food but including a visit to at least one winery plus either a cider house (on morning tours) or a brewery (on afternoon tours). The morning tours also include a stop off at the Maalinup Aboriginal Gallery for a tasting of bush foods.
Either way, over the course of a fun-filled half day tour, you’ll enjoy a variety of different tasting experiences!
With over 20 years’ experience, the team at Taste Bud Tours can’t wait to show you what the Swan Valley has to offer.
Pickups are offered from the Tourist Bus Stand in central Perth and selected Perth hotels, plus the Visitor’s Centre in Guildford.

Experience The Taste Of The Swan Valley
We booked our visit when it came up on a voucher website and as soon as we saw the tagline “Speed Grazing”, we knew it was our kind of trip! Everything about the day was brilliant and flawless. Loris was potentially the best tour guide we have ever had. Not only was she polite and friendly but extremely knowledgeable and she really made the trip something special, for example remembering all the parties names! Our arrival at each venue was booked in advance and allowed seamless transitions and the whole day ran smoothly as a result. It is an absolute for anyone, whether a Perth resident or tourist!” -Stirling 2015

I’ve been wanting to do this half day morning tour for a while now after reading all the great reviews, and it certainly did not disappoint. Loris makes the whole group feel like a family as soon as you step inside her bus and her commentary is just expert and comprehensive on all things in the Swan Valley.

Best service ever!
Loris is a spectacular and informative tour guide, keeping us entertained and informed throughout. A few different options for tours, and any of them will provide good value as you get free samples at each venue, including some samples which are not made available to the general public. Our Sunday afternoon tour had over 25 tastings and learned an abundance about the places we went as well as some local history. Because Loris works with the venues regularly, they knew we were coming and were ready for us. Food lovers of all ages will enjoy the tour - family-friendly but kids may not enjoy the tastings as much. While you could easily spend a couple hours at any of the locations, it is SPEED grazing and gives you a wonderful taste of the Swan Valley; for locals, you'll easily pick favourites to return to. We opted to order pizza and damper at the brewery - delicious wood-fired pizza! Of the thirteen countries I have travelled and toured in, this was by far the best service received.

Perfect morning tour
For someone like me who wishes to cram as much in as they can in a short period of time, this is the perfect foodie tour. Also the only early morning tour to the Swan Valley. Timing was perfect for me as got back to hotel by 1.15pm and then able to head off to airport to return home. Lots of different places, which were of great quality. It was speed grazing, so you need to expect that you go, you taste, you buy, you leave - no dawdling. But still didn't feel too overwhelmed. Great tour guide.
