A really good bed and breakfast
Theresa is a brilliant landlady. Kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Wise too so well worth listening to about the local area, things Australian and local issues. The Palms is probably a little dated but it’s clean and comfortable, quiet and has everything you need.It was a nice place to start our holiday.
Great value, conveniently located, comfortable room, friendly host.
Check-in was easy and straight-forward as there is free parking out the front of the property, Teresa is a friendly, engaging host, who after running through the basics disappears to allow you to relax. Our room while not large had the basics covered: Tea/coffee making, microwave, bar fridge, aircon, private ensuite (shower, no bath) and TV. Bed was comfortable and the on-site pool was welcome for a refreshing dip.The B&B is well located with a shopping centre/cinemas and bowling alley literally only 100m away. Other city locations are accessed with a minimum of fuss as major roads are only a few minutes drive from the B&B. For example we spent one full day on Rottnest Island and the Ferry terminal at Hilary's Harbour was only ten minutes drive. I would recommend the Palms B&B as great value. Brekky is continental with extras as Teresa made us a warm ham and cheese croissant.
Amazing host, lovely bed and breakfast
Firstly, I would like to say Teresa is an amazing host and goes beyond the call of duty. The guest house is cosy ,extremely clean and the breakfasts are delicious. The guest house is excellent value for money and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else
