Situated on the pristine and shady banks of the Barker River, approximately 1km from the main lodge area is the Mount Hart campground. The unpowered sites are perfect for avid campers and caravans looking for a shady place to relax after a day of adventure. Swimming is available in the river with easy access via a pontoon and ladder. Kids under 12 camp for free. As a Conservation Park, domestic animals are not permitted at Mount Hart.

Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
A cancellation received 14 days or more prior to arrival: Full refund
A cancellation received 1-13 days prior to arrival: 50% of the booking total charged
A cancellation received on the day of arrival: 100% of the booking total charged (no refund)
All no shows will be charged full payment (no refund)
Guest Curtailment Policy / Early Check-Out: 100% of the booking total charged (no refund)
Payment of reservation is to be made at least 46 days prior to your arrival ? Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge accepts bank transfers, Visa, Mastercard and debit cards. On arrival a pre-authorisation of your credit card for your accommodation amount may be required. Credit card surcharges apply (Visa: 1.06%, Mastercard 1.20%).
If paying in Cash, a room security bond will be required upon arrival. Cheques are not accepted as payment unless received, banked and cleared 10 days prior to arrival as a full pre-paid deposit. Please note that credit card surcharges are non-refundable.

A great place to camp and relax
We camped very close to the river which was delightful. We had the fish dinner on the first night and the only complaint was it was huge! We had a swim in the river at sunset and found it relaxing, next morning we had about 20 Gouldian finches beside our van. All the walks and trails were great and worth the effort. The staff were friendly and excellent.Beautiful & relaxing
We stayed in the Mt Hart campground for 2 nights 18th Sept. There were only 2 other groups there so we almost had the place to ourselves. Amenities are great & we camped by the river. The Homestead had just closed for the season but the bar & bar food was still going. Brad & Joe were fantastic hosts who do absolutely everything from cooking, building, cleaning & giving great advice & local information. Brad cooked the best pizza's & fish & chips for us and another group. Thanks Brad & Joe for a great stay. We'll be back.Outstanding meals, exceptional service
My mum & I stayed at Mt Hart Wilderness Lodge, it was a fantastic experience! The staff were amazing & big congratulations to the chef Brad, what an exceptionally delicious meal! Conveniently located just 50 kms off the Gibb Riv Rd, this homestead is beautifully situated amidst the K. Leopold Ranges. The grounds are very well kept, the gardens beautifully maintained. It’s an absolute delight walking around the place here. A lot of work has gone into this remarkable place, it’s well worth a visit???✨The safari tents are well-appointed, each has its own ensuite!
The bar is gorgeous as well. There is a campfire for guests to sit around in the evening, great for socialising too.
