where your once in a lifetime adventure unfolds. Be sure to bring your camera to capture all the excitement and beauty that this ultimate outback tour has to offer!
Your half day adventure includes:
- Spectacular floatplane flights to Sweets Lagoon
- Airboat ride through the rainforest channels
- Relaxing billabong cruise including a BBQ breakfast or lunch
- Swimming in the croc safe cage
- Opportunity to view the NT's unique wildlife
- As an exciting optional extra you can purchase a Helicopter flight over the floodplains of Litchfield National Park
Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
Outback Floatplane Adventures (OFA) Terms and conditions 2016
•Aircraft weight restrictions prevent OFA from taking passengers over 120 kilograms.
•All guests must advise their exact weight at the time of booking. If guests exceed their advised weight resulting in the total group weight exceeding aircraft limitations guests may be refused departure from Darwin airport with no refund.
•Children under 4 years of age require prior management approval.
•Any women joining our tour whilst in any stage of pregnancy should seek their doctors approval prior to travel.
•Tour bookings are not confirmed until full payment is received.
•OFA will do our best to cater for all dietary requirements if notified at the time of booking.
•OFA reserves the right to alter the tour specifications and/or itinerary without compensation if operationally required.
•Whilst every care is taken for the safety and wellbeing of our passengers it is essential all guests have their own travel insurance.
•OFA offers a courtesy shuttle service from Central Darwin. Pickups outside of these areas are not guaranteed and are subject to management approval.
Cancellation Policy
•Cancellations within 30 days of departure will forfeit 50% of the total tour cost.
•Cancellations within 2 to 14 days of departure will forfeit 75% of the total tour cost.
•No refund will apply to cancellations within 48 hours of departure.
•OFA will refund the full amount of the tour if we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.

Directions
Courtesy air conditioned coach transfer from Darwin CBD to our hangar at Darwin Airport. Furthest collection point Berrimah.
Alternatively passengers can arrange to meet us at the hangar. Call our office to discuss this prior to booking.

Darwin experience like no other
This is an absolute must do! My family & I loved every single minute. All of the staff we came in contact with Dallas, Dave, Carla, Jack & Jacko you guys rock! I wouldn’t normally remember everyone’s name but that just shows how amazing, knowledgeable & passionate these guys are. True blue Aussie’s that love their country & happy to show some of Darwin’s outback beauty with you. If you want to experience something with your children that I don’t think you will find anywhere else please don’t hesitate, just book. Hotel pick-up, sea plane, boat cruise, float boat & a helicopter ride you will never forget! Our kids 8 & 10 still talk about it with a huge smile across there face!Absolute must do
This tour was by far and away one of the very best tours I have ever done.We were picked up at our motel and taken to the airport where we boarded our float plane. The views were stunning and the trip comfortable.
The plane landed silently on the lagoon which was shrouded in smoke which added to the mystery.
As we cruised around the lagoon the boys cooked up a storm and pointed out crocodiles and bird life.
The airboat was fabulous and Jack is a master of his craft while whispering to the crocodiles. His knowledge of the area was great.
We then took off in the helicopter for a quick flyover of the area. Checking out the devastation of the recent fires and looking out for crocodiles who needed to be moved on.
I also got to go fishing however no joy.
Overall the experiences were fantastic and the boys were knowledgeable and great fun. Definitely worth the money
The overnight adventure with the lot
Float plane, airboat, helicopter, wildlife - oh my! Even though the adrenalin is pumping the professional team always makes you feel safe.Camp hosts Faye and Max were so welcoming and they put on an awesome spread. Unwinding with a diverse group of people around the fire pot was a great way to relax after an eventful afternoon. And the stories that were shared ...
The next morning there was a sumptuous breakfast, opportunity for a dip in the pool and more crocs to meet.
So much packed in at the end you just sit back and think ... WOW!!! ... did we just do that or what???
I'm told the experience at other times of the year is different. So, would I do this again? In a heartbeat!
