Description
Wandana Studio offers a private retreat perfect for couples, solo adventurers, or young families. Located in the lush greenlands of Kalgan, this self-contained studio attached to the main property, provides a peaceful getaway 20 minutes from Albany's town centre. Enjoy the tranquillity of the surrounding open spaces while being within easy reach of Albany's attractions. Ample parking is available for boats, kayaks, and other recreational equipment, making it an ideal base for exploring the region.
From Wandana Studio, you're less than an hour away from some of the Great Southern's most stunning natural wonders. Discover the dramatic coastal scenery where lush greenery meets the turquoise waters of Gull Rock National Park and Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve, and encounter diverse wildlife. Take panoramic views from Bayonet Head Lookout, explore the tranquil waters of Oyster Harbour, or relax on the pristine sands of Gulaj Beach, Emu Point, and the hidden gem of Etann Beach. Scenic drives through the lushlands of Kalgan and the surrounding areas offer breathtaking views. The proximity to Albany means you're just moments away from some of the country's best beaches, iconic historical sites, and national treasures.
Inside the studio, the kitchenette amenities include the essentials for preparing light meals and the added convenience of a washing machine. The bathroom features a standard rain shower, providing a refreshing start or end to your day. While the studio is attached to the family home, your privacy is respected. However, the friendly family, including two energetic young children, are happy to interact and share local insights if you wish. Guests are also welcome to join the family on the deck for a drink and a chat. Please note that pets are not permitted.
Guests have their private access to the studio and deck area. You're encouraged to say hello to Yiggle, the friendly staghound who roams the property. The family also keeps chickens and other farm animals, and their children are always happy to give guests a tour. During their stay, guests are welcome to enjoy the property's surroundings, including the kids' play equipment.
