It is a working pastoral station with 80km of coastline bordering the Indian Ocean. Your choice of accommodation ranges from camping or palm frond humpies, fishing shacks, cottages through to luxury eco safari tents on top of the Red Bluff cliffs. The 80 kms of Quobba Coastline is a unique piece of Australia. There are very few places where you can see such a rugged yet so beautiful coast. There are many things to see and do on arrival at Quobba Station. One of the main attractions is the land based game fishing that is a challenge to any fisherman of any experience. With the water depth reaching up to 80ft, casting distance from the rocks, the opportunity to catch game fish is almost unlimited. Spanish Mackerel, Shark mackerel, Broadbar Mackerel, Cobia, Tuna, Benito, Sharks and Sailfish have all been caught from the Quobba rocks. The Chalets are situated on top of the picturesque sand dunes overlooking the Indian ocean, the chalets are perfect for the family getaway or a romantic weekend. Spectacular scenery from the deck of the Quobba coastline both north and south. A great place to sit and watch the whales swim by during the season. The Chalets are fully self contained (excluding bed linen) with their own kitchens, shower and toilet facilities. One room contains a queen size bed, the other contains two sets of single bunks, in total sleeping 6 people comfortably. The Chalets are equipped with 24 hour power.

This cottage was originally the Blacksmiths workshop. It is made of stone. It sleeps 7 people with one double room and two other single rooms. It consists of a self contained kitchen, living area, own shower and toilet facilities (donkey hot water), 24 hr power and BBQ area.

This cottage was originally the station garage. It sleeps 8 people, with one double room and two singles. It consists of a self contained kitchen covered verandah, shower and toilet facilities (donkey hot water system), 24 hr power and BBQ facilities. This cottage is ideal for larger groups or the budget minded family.
Cottage - The Outcamp

This cottage was originally the station hands accommodation. It is quite large and sleeps between 8 -10 people. It has one double room, a single room with 2 beds and then a large breezeway with the remaining beds. The Outcamp contains its own shower, toilet and kitchen. The power is run off the station generator. This cottage is great for big families or combined families.

This cottage was once the �tack room�. It sleeps 4 people. This cottage is ideal for smaller groups or the budget minded fisherman. This cottage is currently being renovated.
Shearing Quarters

The Shearers Quarters were still used every year for shearing on the Station until damara sheep replaced the merino flock.The Quarters sleep between 15 � 20 people, all single beds. It has a self contained kitchen and a very large dining/entertainment area (the greatest dining table for very long dinners). The Quarters use the common ablution block and the power runs off the station generator for 10 hours per day. The Quarters are only available for the larger groups and are ideal for schools or some corporate team building rugged outback coastal experience.

The Shacks

The Shack, the Brown and the Green shacks are transportables. They each sleep between 4 to 6 people. They have a self contained kitchen and dining area. These three cottages all use the common ablution block and run power off the station generator for 10 hours per day. The Shack and the Brown cottages have recently been renovated and are great for families or fishing.

Deposits are non refundable and required at time of booking. Payment is required to be paid in full when booking has been confirmed. Collecting wood on Quobba Station is prohibited. Firewood for sale at the station shop. Freezer - Homestead freezer - 10 hour power - $15 per night - Must be bagged and labeled with weight content and owners name - Arrange at Station Shop - Absolutely no public access to freezer area Firewood is available at the office for $20/20kg bag

Directions
By air: You can fly with Skippers from Perth to Carnarvon.
By road: 800km from Perth to Carnarvon. Quobba Station is located 80km north of Carnarvon. Take the Blowholes Road turnoff approx 30 kms north of Carnarvon on the Great Northern Highway. When you reach the “King Waves Kill” sign turn right (approx 7km).
