Exceptionally clean facilities, lovely owners!
We stayed here for 6 nights in a tent over the Easter holidays and had a lovely stay. Spotlessly clean loos, fabulous hot showers with great water pressure and nice flat areas to pitch a tent.We had no complaints except for the other guests over the holiday weekend. The larger groups tended to be noisy and unaware of how disruptive their early morning and late-night activities were to their neighbours. We should have complained to the owner, who we feel would have put an end to quite quickly, but we didn’t want to make waves.
Although close to the road, there was little road noise. The camp kitchen is a simple open covered space with a large wood-burning stove. Two small refrigerators, a kettle, hot plate and dishwashing facilities
with clean tea towels, new sponges and washing liquid provided.
Shirley and her family were friendly, accommodating and hardworking. We will camp there again. The location is excellent for day trips to Albany, Denmark and the Porongurups wine region.
Friendly and Relaxing
We originally only planned to stay one night and head off but enjoyed our time so much booked for another night. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the amenities were kept clean. Lovely big shade trees and green well kept lawns everywhere.Highly recommend as a base camp for checking out all the great vineyards.
Friendly and spacious
Last-minute decision to stay 3 nights over the summer holiday. Friendly staff who made us feel welcome and extremely helpful. Spacious blocks giving lots of privacy. Very quiet and relaxing which made our holiday awesome. Very close to town and plenty to see and do. Summing up one of the best parks we've had pleasure visiting. Highly recommended.
