Description
With some of the world's most beautiful and peaceful beaches, Guilderton Holiday Park is situated at the mouth of the Moore River in Western Australia. This place is soon to be your favourite holiday destination. The close proximity to Perth (only 95km away) makes Guilderton the ideal weekend and short break destination. Guilderton was awarded cleanest beach in Australia for 2015!
Guilderton Holiday Park is a family orientated park with the emphasis on "kicking back" and relaxing, spending quality time, doing all those "nothings" you have been dreaming of.
The park boats some of the most uniquely situated sites and chalets in Moore River. Many of the sites are partly shaded by mature trees. There are a range of different sized sites including some with hardstands and a tent area. There is a new camp kitchen and 4 new BBQs and all chalets have a fresh coat of paint as part of our commitment to proper maintenance and continuing upgrades to make your stay more enjoyable and comfortable.
Many water sports are also readily available adjacent to the Park: river cruising, canoeing, fishing, swimming and surfing. What more could a water baby ask for? Why not bring the family and learn a new sport, or share your skills as you teach your kids to boogie board or fish? Recreational fishing is a popular pastime here, either from the beaches or the river; good sized Taylor, Mulloway and Brim being caught regularly. Back on dry land try the walk trails around the town, walk to the last light house built in Australia, or try a round of golf at the local 9-hole golf course and country club.

Camping Trip
We’re usually a remote camping family (the more remote the better) but we spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it.Guilderton is an hour north of Perth which makes it an attractive option for a weekend getaway. The Moore River is the perfect place for children to enjoy the water and there were lots of paddleboards, kayaks and canoes of various shapes and sizes.
The caravan park is lovely. We pitched our tent with no problems and the site was big enough for our tent, gazebo and our car. Plenty of room! Toilet block was clean, kitchen area is well appointed with enough space for everyone. Couldn’t fault the place really.
Pretty sure we’ll be back next year, same time.
Great location
Terrific location for everyone from Grey Nomads to families with small children. Safe swimming in the river or surf in the ocean. Caravan Park is very tidy with well kept ablution block and camp kitchen. Staff very friendly and helpful.Where the ocean meets the river
We took our caravan to Guilderton beach holiday park and it was an ideal location where the Ocean meets the river. Safe for the grandchildren and plenty for them to occupy themselves for the three days we stayed there. The facilities where clean and there were plenty showers and toilets. Our van was positioned overlooking the river mouth and although it was a little windy at times it was a very enjoyable stay indeed. If you want a wee break it is not too far away. We live in the northern suburbs and it was only a one and a half hour drive.
