Had a wonderful time from the moment we arrived. Lovely accommodation, super hot shower both night & morning. Dinner was superb & was unbelievable how organized the staff were so each table received their meals together. All staff & tour guides were so friendly I will recommend the Wilderness Lodge to all my friends & fellow travelers.

Above average glamping experience
A luxury glamping experience with welcoming and friendly staff.
The tents are spacious, but extremely hot during the day with no fan to provide relief from the heat. The bed was very comfortable and there are plenty of blankets when it becomes quite cold at night.
All park exploring is recommended early morning due to the heat, and the only way to stay cool is to sit in the communal lounge and dining area.
The evening meal is at a shared table at a set time. The food was good quality, however, we stayed three nights and were served the same meal on the third night as we had on the first which was a little disappointing.

Outback glamping
We had a wonderful few days here . Checked in by the lovely Megan and shown to our tent overlooking the bush, which was spacious and lovely comfy bed and large bush bathroom . There is only power for light in the tents but you can charge things over in the lounge area. Similarly, tea and coffee are there too anytime . Meals were very good and social occasions. Notably there was very little markup in the wine . Breakfast was fine but a bit erratic with the cooked food ( ie get there early or just ask if they seem to not have much left and more will appear) I loved the yoghurt and fruit pots. Packed lunch for
Walking was fine too.
All The staff were happy and helpful even very early in the morning!
We did the Domes, Cathedral Gorge, Piccaninny Lookout one day them Minibpalm gorge and Echidna Chasm the next . The latter were our favourites . The 30 minute chopper ride gives you a whole new perspective on the park.
And don’t believe the stuff about the toad in : yes it’s 4 wd but go slowis
