Margaret River is an easy 3hr drive from Perth via Bunbury and Busselton. But you can also come via Nannup or Pemberton. Our preferred check in is any time after 3 PM so we suggest you enjoy the journey and take it easy getting here and enjoy the many attractions along the way.
We recommend that you ignore your GPS and go direct into the town and then on to us. Once in the town, turn west into Wallcliffe Road at the top of the main street. This is the road taking you to the famous surf beaches about 10km away at Prevelly, the river mouth and Gnarabup. Wallcliffe Road intersects Caves Road at a T junction 5km west of the town. Turn Right into Caves Road. Go north along Caves Road for only 400m where you will see Loaring Place on the right. The Margaret River B&B is the only driveway on the left and there is plenty of parking.
If coming via Caves Road, you will find it is a magnificent tourist drive. It goes south from Dunsborough all the way to Augusta through the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region. You can pick up a free map of the region at the Busselton Jetty or online from https://b.link/tkr4rk. Cape Naturaliste, Sugarloaf Rock, Canal Rocks, Indjidup, Gabriel Chocolate, Bettenay Nougat, Olio Bello and Gracetown are just some of the places that we think you will enjoy. Of course, there are many wineries and quite a few breweries and other attractions you can visit as well. If coming from Pemberton, then Cape Leeuwin, Jewel Cave, Hamelin Bay, Boranup Lookout are well worth visiting if you have time.

From Margaret River continue on Bussell Highway towards Augusta and turn right at the first roundabout into Boodjidup Road. Follow this to the end (passing Xanadu and Redgate wineries) and then turn left onto Caves Road. After two kilometres turn right into Redgate Road. The entrance to Redgate Beach Escape is approximately one and a half kilometres on the right hand side. Alternatively, continue on the Bussell Highway to Witchcliffe town, turn right into Redgate Road in front of the Gull Service Station and follow Redgate Road, crossing over Caves Road, until you see your first glimpses of the ocean.

From the south the most scenic route is north along Caves Road, passing through the Boranup forest and approximately three kilometres past Calgardup cave entrance, you will find Redgate Road, where you turn left towards the beach. From the north, on Caves Road, drive past the turning to Prevelly and continue heading south for approximately nine kilometres. Turn right into Redgate Road and our entrance is approximately one and a half kilometres on the right hand side.

At the Busselton roundabout turn left onto the Busselton Bypass, following the signs for Cowaramup and Margaret River. Once in Margaret River continue on the Bussell Hwy until you are approximately in the middle of town. Look for Willmott Ave. It is a "T" junction and has the Margaret River Hotel on the corner. Turn left into Willmott Ave and drive up the hill past Woolworths on your left and the Post Office on your right. Once over the top of the hill you will see that the road has a large dip and at the bottom of the dip on the left there is a timber sign indicating "Arcadia Chalets".
Drive left down the entry immediately after the sign and follow the narrow private road. The road loops around to the left after about 75m. (Don't go into the parking area at bend in the road). Follow the road around the bend and you will see two double story cottages on your left. A River Cottage is the second one. There is a No15 on the centre verandah post and "A River Cottage" on wall. There is a parking space at the right side of the house and you can also park parallel to the road just past the house.

We are located a short 1-2 minute stroll from the main street of Margaret River. As you arrive into Margaret River from the North along Bussell Highway go over the bridge of The Margaret River. You are welcome to park in our carpark which can be accessed from Tunbridge Street just past Charles West Avenue.

Guests self-check-in via a key lock box. Instructions for check-in are sent to guests via SMS within 72 of arrival. If you require assistance our reception is on the ground floor below the apartments and is generally open between 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday (except for public holidays).
