An experience not to be missed
We went on the Didjeridoo Dreaming tour. Capes arrived on time and immediately introduced us to country and gave each one in the group a aFirst Nations Name in Language. The story told around a fire was interesting and the inclusion of the children in the group to take part in the experience was impressive. His willingness to answer questions and explaining his answers was great.Kayak Tour
Excellent tour with ‘Capes’. A friendly guide with a passionate attachment to the place and a depth of knowledge. He manages to cater to all patrons well and nothing is too much trouble. The tour opened up a fascinating landscape and aquatic environment to all the kayakers. A memorable day topped off with a huge and delicious lunch of local fish.5 stars is not enough, this is a ten star plus company
This was our second trip to Denham and we knew that the one thing we simply HAD to do whilst in town was book more tours with Capes and Mira.We had done the Kayak tour a few years ago and this was the fuel that fired my curiosities about aboriginal culture, since then I was hungry for more and more education so this was a must on our list. In fact, if Capes tours weren't available when we were there we would have likely changed our holiday dates to when he was there, it is THAT good!
This time we booked the Didgeridoo night camp for Wednesday night and the Francois Peron 4WD tour on the Thursday.
The Didgeridoo camp was one of the most spiritual learning experiences I have ever been involved in, I think my expectations were totally exceeded.
Having read the information provided in the website, I was of total understanding that the didgeridoo would only be played by males so there was no surprises there, it always pays to read before you go (to all the people who have written upset rev
