An unforgettable experience of the Outback...
I did one night camping which included the Uluru sunrise , sunset and a visit to the Kata Tjuta mountains. The airport pick up was smooth and on time. The guy who was my guide (unfortunately i cant remember his name) for the entire tour , was very friendly and was so helpful though out the tour. We were given a comprehensive introduction at the very beginning of the tour.Since it was a rainy day in Uluru ( a very rare situation at that part of Australia) we were able to do the complete 10km Mala walk.
The guide stayed with us through out the walk and showed us important landmarks and explained us the stories behind those places.
After the Mala walk we had the dinner while enjoying the view of classic Uluru sunset.
We spent the night at the common camp ground and were provided with all the things needed for a good sleep after a long day.
Next day we visited the Olgas after a decent breakfast.
My tour ended on day 2 at Ayers rock airport and i was dropped at the airport with adequate ti
Great trip under the stars
i am not a camper but the camping under the stars amazed me.it was great too with the good tour leading by Tayla, who drove us and cooked for us. The itinerary is well planned and covered amazing sites.A magnific experience
It was a great journey through part of the Australian outback. The guide, Jordi, was very knowledgeable and very attentive to our well being. High points, were camping out under the sky (unfortunately on the 1st night we were near enough a bar with music until quite late that ruined the experience, in the second night it was perfect though), the magnificent sights, and learning a bit about aboriginal history and culture.
Things that could be improved: food, place where to eat the food (we were flooded by thousands of flies, which although uncommon asked for an alternative plan on where to consume the food), bus (the bus was quite old and the air conditioner took quite a bit to kick in after being stopped for a while).
