We’ve been expecting you! We know what it means to come from a long and tiring trip and to long for a genuine welcome, a good drink and a comfortable bed to stretch out on. If you enjoy being made a fuss of, you’ve come to the right place!
Families and business people love us, too. We’ve been hosts to countless family vacations, reunions, birthday celebrations, meetings and functions.
Our appeal to such a wide range of clientele might have to do with our attention to detail and making it all very personal.
If you want to unwind and have a drink or two look no further - introducing Six Degrees Bar and Restaurant. Our urban retro chic bar and restaurant – the best in contemporary casual wining and dining. 12 tap beers, a curated regional wine list, a broad & innovative menu (with a Peruvian twist)Licensed Al fresco sidewalk dining with sweeping harbour views. Urban laneway for some tapas and a tipple – known as ‘The Zoo’ there’s a story to this nook!
We also have Live Entertainment! Guest and resident DJ’s spin to get the weekend underway between 10:00 pm up to late on Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday afternoon bootleg sessions out on the alfresco sidewalk, overlooking the bay. We often have events and promotions – see our blog and Facebook pages to stay informed.

Cancellation Policy
Terms & conditions if your plans change
Except for all Non-Refundable bookings free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival.
If cancelled within 14 days of arrival the value of one nights accommodation will be forfeited.
If cancelled within 3 days of arrival 100% of total amount of the booking will be forfeited.
All cancellations must be done by contacting the website that the original booking was made on.
In addition there will be a $65 Albany Visitor Centre cancellation fee.
1 nights deposit required at time of booking. Full balance 3 days prior to arrival.

From large roundabout at entrance to Albany follow the signs to the city centre (York St.), turn right at the top of York St. travelling down hill towards the harbour & turn left when you reach the Stirling Terrace roundabout. The Royal George is on the left hand side.
