We aim to set a new standard for hospitality by creating meaningful connections between our guests and the local community, from the food and wine producers to the artists and creators who make this region so special.

Where we live is Menang Noongar country, it has been since time immemorial and so we acknowledge the Menang and all Aboriginal people in Australia as the custodians of the world’s oldest living culture. We are proud to be a part of this country and respect our Aboriginal elders and leaders of the past and present.

We look forward to a future Australia walking together.

The Allotment Cottage

4 Bedrooms sleeping up to 10 guests: - Queen bed - Queen bed - Queen bed - 2 bunk beds Lovingly restored worker's cottage in Old Albany, minutes away from the cafes, restaurants and bars of central Albany. The cottage combines elegance and luxury with a relaxed bohemian feel. Morning sunshine streams through the open kitchen, living and dining space which opens on to an enclosed garden and courtyard. In the colder months, there's a fireplace and a deep bath for winter comfort. All bedrooms are spacious, with quality linens and the kitchen well appointed for self catering. The house has been restored to preserve its original features including polished jarrah floorboards and timber lined walls and ceilings. Downstairs includes 2 queen size bedrooms and a bunk room to sleep 4, with adjacent bathroom including a deep freestanding bath and separate shower. The open plan kitchen, living and dining area opens on to a sheltered courtyard of recycled bricks and lily pond (with safety grate - but please supervise little ones). Also downstairs is a laundry with separate toilet. Upstairs leads to a large queen size bedroom with views over the harbour and Mount Clarence and a walk in robe and ensuite bathroom.

Perched on Mount Melville with sweeping harbour views, an elegant one-bedroom studio is the perfect backdrop for your weekend away. A full kitchen, wood fireplace, and terrace give you space to relax and reconnect. Architecturally designed, with hand-crafted furniture from salvaged WA timber. Luxurious king-sized bed and ensuite are finished with premium bedding and towels. Linen drapes frame sustainably grown timber surrounding the two-storey insulated window overlooking the harbour. Integrated into the grounds of a unique Albany residence, your studio was purpose built with form, function, and sustainability in mind. Enjoy sweeping views across Mammang-Koort (Princess Royal Harbour) through soaring insulated windows. Nestled in the heart of Old Albany, the Studios sit alongside many heritage homes. You’ll be staying in a quiet, leafy street, just a few minutes’ walk from the Albany Markets, the Parade Street playground, and a dog-friendly park. The studio has 1 designated parking bay for guests. The Albany CBD is a 5 minute walk away and E-Scooters are available for for hire all around town.

Recommend to anyone looking to visit Albany

Our stay at View Street Studios 'Yarri' was delightful; Louise and James thought of everything to make our stay super comfortable; the Studio is a touch of luxury with beautiful furniture and linens. The location is super close to Albany town centre, and the view of Princess Royal Harbour from the Studio is impressive. Lou's welcome email with many recommendations for local restaurants and attractions is comprehensive and a nice touch; we used quite a few of them. We will recommend the Samphire Collection to anyone looking to visit Albany. Thank you, Paul & Elspeth Turner.

Beautifully designed

So beautifully designed and set into the environment as if it rose from the rocks itself. Hosts Lou and James greeted me warmly and ensured I had everything I needed. ‘Tallerack ’ is one of the most stunning places I have ever stayed in and cannot wait to return.

Masterpiece of comfort

The Allotment Cottage is a hidden gem tucked away in a beautiful corner of central Albany, Lou & James have created a masterpiece of comfort living all ammenities are of good quality clean & very well presented, I would definitely recommend a stay.
