Overview

Roswa Park Farmstay is a family operated business by Mike and Lisa Wood situated 5 minutes south of Harvey in the locality of Benger.

Book direct and save 15%,

Our cosy fully self-contained, 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 5. In addition to being fully self-contained with fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom and all modern conveniences, we have a BBQ on the verandah that guests are welcome to use.

We have a washing machine and ironing board with iron as well as doonas, blankets, towels, tea-towels, blankets, and pillows provided. No Internet, however mobile reception is available.

Extra folding beds and portable cot available for a small fee.

Around the Farm:

Collect the eggs from our chook pens, and sometimes you might be lucky enough to see some newly hatched chickens. We have a couple of turkeys as well, who love the attention.

Meet our mucky ducks called Puddles and Daisy.

Our calves, consist of 2 Dexters, 1 jersey X plus a couple of onlookers!

The grand old lady at Roswa Park is our 31 year old Shetland pony, Dolly. She is retired, however children are welcome to brush her.

Wonky the rabbit is a favourite, very soft dwarf lop ear rabbit, still in training as he is quite young. We also have a guinea pig that is lovely to hold.

Pick fresh vegetables for dinner from our vegetable garden and if fruit is in season, pick fresh from the trees.

Guests are welcome to wander the property, to view the animals, but asked not to enter the paddocks without supervision for their safety and that of the animals.

Those travelling long distance to or from an equestrian event are welcome bring their horses, with a safe paddock and hay provided.

During the winter months, it is advisable to bring the gumboots!!! Summer bring flyscreen and nets!

Base Rate:

$150 per night per couple

$10 surcharge applies during peak periods

$10 each child per night aged 3- 16

$15 per night per horse, hay provided
