Ideal for 2 couples but licensed to sleep 6, there are two main cabins, one with a queen bed and the other with a double. For extras, there is a comfortable queen size futon in the saloon and a single bunk bed in the double bedroom. All linen and towels are supplied.
Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen that will delight the home chef, two barbecues – one with a lid to operate as an oven, microwave, toaster, blender and three burner gas cooktop. For keeping your food and drinks cold, there is fridge and several eskies which can be stocked with ice. Additionally, there are two chest fridges - one set to fridge temperature and the other to freeze..
An eco-friendly solar system runs all the electrics except the air conditioner which requires a petrol-powered generator.
For relaxing, there is a large saloon surrounded by windows for enjoying the view. This area and the kitchen is air-conditioned for warmer times as are the bedrooms which operate on their own individual systems. All windows and doors have insect screens.
There is a bathroom with hot shower and handbasin. Due to the environmental regulations in the pristine environment of the Kimberley, water must drain into a grey water storage tanks which has limited capacity so indoor showers must be kept short. Alternatively, there is an outdoor shower also with hot water. Alternatively, climb down the ladder from the swim deck and bathe in the fresh river water. Be aware though, that the fish and invertebrates that inhabit the river may not be as keen as you are about your favourite shampoo. Be sure to use eco friendly products! There is a toilet with electric pump emptying into a black water storage tank.
For transport, you can ensure you don’t disturb the tranquillity of the Kimberley wilderness by paddling around in one of two fishing kayaks or an electric powered tender. For those who want to go further afield, arrangements can be made to hire a petrol powered tinny.
Choose from one of three locations - Wilderness and Gorges, Bush Camp, Island and Creek or Lily Creek Lagoon and Gourmet Dining. Each option presents a different take on your Kimberley adventure so you may prefer to choose more than one (conditions apply).

We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to departure will forfeit the deposit of $500. Covid related cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before departure only when a government-imposed border lock down is imposed.

Directions
You are taken to your chosen location through either speed boat, or if you have a skippers ticket you can hire a dinghy for $100 per day and be guided upstream. The 3 locations are Lilly Creek Lagoon, Wallaby Cliffs and Sandy Cliffs.

Amazing!
The houseboat was very clean with plenty of linen for everyone, and the kitchen was well equipped. The new equipment on the top deck was fantastic - BBQ worked great and the sink is a good addition and very convenient. The new fold out lounge was very comfortable to sleep on. The new swim deck functions well and made swimming off the boat easy.Thank you for an amazing experience!

My husband and I, along with another couple, spent 5 nights on the Kimberley Dreaming Houseboat. It is a 5-star luxury experience within the beauty and tranquillity of the outback. We thoroughly recommend the “Jump Rock” Gorge location for the tranquillity and the opportunity to be “off line”. Our friends enjoyed the fishing kayaks and returned each day with our evening barbecue of catfish and sooty grunters. We all enjoyed watching the magnificent orange and lilac sunsets and eating under the stars. We will definitely be on board again. I really miss that peace and quiet.Kimberley Dreaming Houseboat Stay
A fantastic 4 days spent on the spacious and comfortable Kimberley dreaminghouseboat. We had everything we needed for our relaxing stay in the rugged and remote Ord river mooring locations. The swimming, fishing, kayaking and hanging out watching the wildlife go about their business was restorative. We were there just on the dark moon phase and the night sky was ablaze with stars which reflected from the still water making the whole place seem surreal. The photography opportunities were exceptional.
