Kelinda House

Relax at Kelinda House on the banks of the Avon River and watch the water birds living on the island in the river in front of the house. This is just one of the things going on at any one time.The ever changing sunlight from sunrise to sunset gives the garden, the river even the bridge, a different dynamic throughout the day.

Then at night, there are the party lights from the main street, Bernard Park and the Peel Terrace Bridge. The next day, while the sunlight works its magic, the 28's, black, white, pink and grey cockatoos are flying over the house; the Newholland honey eaters, martins, mudlarks and wattle birds are roaming through the garden. If that's not enough, out in the middle of the river, there are the white swans, cootes, cormorants, ducks, the occasional pelican, with black swans flying in towards the end of summer.

This self contained, three bedroom house with reverse cycle air conditioning , is just a short walk across the suspension bridge, to pubs and restaurants in the main street.

There is a cleaning fee of $45 per stay.

Please be aware this property is on the edge of the river and the fence does not fully enclose the property. The gate opening on the driveway is 6 meters wide. If you have young children please be aware of this when you are booking. Unsupervised children are at risk.
