With easy access to Bell, Galvans and Barnett River gorges, and close to Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek, Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodge is the perfect base for exploring the West Kimberley.

The shady and picturesque lodge was built with the areas sensitive ecosystem in mind, and has been awarded an Advanced Ecotourism certification. Environmentally friendly, and blending into the surrounding scenery, Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodge ensures guests enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay with the assurance they are leaving only a light footprint.

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies

Days of Notice Prior to Departure - Fee Per Person
30 days or more no penalty
29-15 days 20% of total Lodge stay
14-8 days 50% of total Lodge stay
7 days or less 100% of Lodge stay

There are separate Terms & Conditions for group bookings of more than 5 tents.

A charge of $50 will apply to any addition or modification requested after the original booking has been confirmed.

Accommodation, dinner and breakfast is included in your booking. No refund is provided for missed meals.
Lunch is available at an additional cost.
Transfers to and from the lodge is not included, nor can they be offered.

All Wilderness lodge holds a liquor license which allows for the purchase of beer and wine, soft drinks and a small selection of spirits. Guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol.

Directions

How To Get There
From Derby, travel along the Gibb River Road past the Imintji Community/Store to the Saddlers Creek crossing, 500m east of Imintji Community.
At the crossing turn right into the access track marked by an “APT Wilderness Lodge” sign.

From Kununurra, travel along the Gibb River Road and turn left after you cross Saddlers Creek Crossing at the “APT Wilderness Lodge” sign.
Travel 200 m and turn left onto another access track, before travelling a further 50m to camp.

Imintji Store provides diesel fuel only (no petrol) along with basic supplies, coffee and drinks.

Lovely spot in the outback
Lovely staff, very comfortable tent with all the modern facilities. We enjoyed out food that given the remote location. Very central to checking out all the gorges in the area. We stayed 2 nights but 3 would have been better.

The tents are very comfortable, and the meals delicious. The staff are all exceptional hosts, young, bright and so helpful, it was a very enjoyable stay.
