Overview
Windy Harbour is a holiday settlement on crown reserve surrounded by D'Entrecasteaux National Park. Walk for miles on the beach or follow the walk trail to Pt D'Entrecasteaux. Fish in the sheltered rocky channel near the Boat Ramp or bring a surf rod to head further up the beach. 4WD access to the mouth of the Gardner River, 2WD access to National Park areas on D'Entrecasteaux Drive - Salmon Beach, Gardner Lookout, Sunset Lookout, Tookalup, Pt D'Entrecasteaux, Nature's Window, Windy Harbour lighthouse. Great for wildlife and wildflower spotting in season, look for whales, dolphins and seals in season. Walk or drive 1km from Windy Harbour to Cathedral Beach.
