The Kununurra Visitor Centre is the best place to familiarise yourself with all there is to see and do in the East Kimberley.
Whether you are after a bed, boab, billabong, boat, barra or just want to see the Bungles we can organise it all for you and make certain you have an adventure here in our backyard.
Kununurra is a unique place, surrounded by beautiful boab trees of all shapes and sizes or if its birds you are after we can help there too. Marlgu Billabong is a short drive from Kununurra on the way to Wyndham. Its a great place to bird watch and a pretty nice place to view the sunset.
The Purnululu National Park or Bungles is a must see when planning a trip here. You can take a day tour or spend the night, flying over the magnificent Ord River Irrigation Area or there is the option of driving in yourself and taking your time.
We also have some awesome Aboriginal Cultural Experiences on Country too. Our local custodians are very pleased to share their experiences and land with our visitors so if you want to visit some pretty unique locations - we are the place to start.
Kununurra, the word literally means big water and there are plenty of places to get out on a boat, cruising on the Ord, watching the sunset on Lake Kununurra or spending a relaxing day on Lake Argyle, there are so many options to choose from!
Take a look at our website visitkununurra.com for some great ideas, get in touch or book your accommodation and experiences.

Directions
The KVC is centrally located, adjacent to the post office. The KVC is co-located with El Questro Wilderness Park Booking Office and Kimberley Asian Cuisine. The premises provide a safe, friendly shop facility that caters to those with disabled or special needs. There is a ramp available at the entrance to the building and clean, public toilets, including a disabled toilet. The KVC is easily recognisable as we have a large windmill at the front of the building with the italic ‘i' signage on it.
There is plenty of parking and we are an RV friendly town so come and say hello!

Hats off to u guys, we haven’t experienced that much good customer service in too many places in WA ??All Staff are extremely helpful
Betty (our customer service person) was able to help us get on a tour of El Questro which was absolutely awesome! The staff all seem to go above and beyond to provide relevant information & bookings of tours & answer any questions we as tourists have. So informative ??Highly recommended and trustworthy
Excellent and great valueWe had wonderful service and advice from Sheryl and she was oh so patient with our multiple calls and emails
This service is owned by the local tourist businesses so all profit stays in the town so it's better to use and support this wonderful tourist advisory service who can book the lot for you
