Many of the pieces created, whether it be furniture, woodturnings, sculpture or finely crafted gift items, are often made including timber reclaimed from old structures or ancient logs salvaged from the forest floor. Mixed media pieces are also crafted incorporating other products and materials.
The conservation of the South West Australian Jarrah forest is our priority.

High-quality
One of the unique things about living in Western Australia is the ease of obtaining high-quality Jarrah furniture. I love the dark colouration of the wood; for me, everything else looks a little bit tacky by comparison. Jarrahcorp's furniture designs are a little outside of the older-style furniture I'm into, but if you're into cleaner lines and modern looking furnishings, you'll find a lot of interest here. The items are not cheap, but the quality is very high and most of their items are likely to last well beyond your lifetime. Worth a look around when you're considering your next big furniture purchase.Beautiful furniture
Jarrahcorp is an amazing fine furniture store which specializes in handcrafted Jarrah and Marri wood furniture and does everything from large cabinets, tables and shelves to small items like jewellery boxes, lovely bowls and coasters. One of their stand out pieces for me was a large dining table which was made out of the base of a tree which was simply the most interesting and beautiful piece of furniture I've seen. Their style runs from the very traditional to the very contemporary and creative suited to every individual taste, they also have a selection of beautiful aboriginal art which coincides wonderfully with the dark wood furniture.Pieces of art
Jarrah wood is the most beautiful and finest wood to come from WA, it feels and smells amazing. In Fremantle there is a store filled with furniture made purely from this amazing wood. Before you get on your high horse about preserving trees and forests, that is one of Jarrahcorps highest priorities and they recognize and support the need for preserving the Jarrah forest in the south west. They build all kinds of furniture for your home, from large pieces such as dining room tables and chairs to tv cabinets, down to smaller items like salt and pepper shakers and jewellery boxes, which make for great gifts, and of course, all built to the highest quality. They really are pieces of art in themselves, but the store does sell local artists work that highlight Australian themes in the paintings. The store is a lot of fun to walk around and just feel the wood really, but if you're moving into a new home, I'd consider getting some of these amazing pieces to furnish your pad!
