Great place to stay close to Broome!
A great place to spend a night camping close to Broome. The campground is not huge, only a few sites. The amenities were clean but be aware that there a lot of frogs around. Especially the camp kitchen which is also a bird hide is great. We had fun preparing and eating our dinner and breakfast while watching the bathing birds. In the morning additionally a few wallabys appeared. We would have loved to take part in a tour but this did not fit in our travel schedule.
One suggestion for the team: Perhaps you should inform the staff at the visitor center in Broome about the tour schedule because when we asked them about dates and times they could not answer the questions. We later had the chance to go online and have a look at the schedule on your homepage but it could be convenient to get the information in the visitor center.
Wonderful experience!
Really enjoyed ourselves here. The staff were great and the bird drive /tours were excellent!! Although the cabins were of basic standard, they were clean and the shade house offered a wonderful vantage for watching birds and wallabies drinking on the property. Close to the beautiful beach area and providing clean toilet and shower facilities. I am hoping to get back for the migration seasonSuperb
Great to be out of busy Broome and close to the beach. Great spot, nice a quiet and relaxing.
