Exceeded my expectations of accommodation within a Uni student residence facility
It was surprisingly roomy and new, with a full length (but shallow depth) balcony looking out to the rooftop garden. Separate kitchen/lounge area to bedroom. Staff were very friendly on my arrival. It felt more personal than most accommodation (more like air bnb than a hotel). Quiet while I was there (mid-week) with no traffic noise. I could quite easily live in that room. Breakfast was free with a short walk through the student residence to their dining room. Good-sized desk with inbuilt light. Kitchenette with full-sized fridge. I didn't use aircon but I used (and liked) the overhead fans in bedroom and lounge area (never enough of these in Perth and better during the warmer nights).Perfect for my work trip to UWA, great location, very comfortable, not sure about the food
My employer booked me in to stay here during a two week contract where I was working on site at UWA. I was a bit nervous looking at the mixed reviews but honestly, the place is perfect for my needs. The apartment was clean and a good size (I stayed in the Executive Studio), the WiFi was very easy to log on to and extremely reliable (and pretty fast, too), and all the amenities were in working order. It was also a comforting and attractive room. Plenty of wardrobe and storage space for a long work stay. Bed was comfortable for me (and I'm pretty picky about beds).Staff were very helpful - at one point I was waiting for an urgent delivery and they were very good about communicating with me over that. Admittedly, reception is closed on the weekend and you do have to call the Resident Advisor to be let in, but that is a very straightforward process and is detailed in the booking information...
Great location
The welcome was excellent and very professional. A very good boutique hotel set in lovely area within the University. The location is very convenient and perfect for a walk in Kings Park or by the River.
