Eight Willows Retreat (formerly Willy Bay Resort) is a AAA rated 4.5 star (self-catering) luxury retreat set amidst 30 hectares (75 acres) of beautiful natural bush and parkland. With our chalets offering lake, vineyard and forest views, the property is situated beside thousands of hectares of state forest.
Located mid-way between Busselton and Margaret River, in the heart of the renowned Margaret River Wine Region, Eight Willows Retreat is surrounded by world class wineries and local producers of gourmet delights.
The retreat offers a total of 27 chalets - a variety of One, Two and our fourbedroom house "The Residence" All chalets are fully equipped with: - Gourmet European-styled kitchen including: stone bench tops, full size refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric oven, gas stove top and dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, Travertine marble flooring in bathroom, lounge and kitchen - Wide screen high-definition LCD TV with and free view channels - Reverse cycle air conditioning - Personal outdoor BBQ on your patio - Linen and towels provided.
As Eight Willows Retreat is based in a rural setting with a focus on premium self-catering accommodation in tranquil surroundings. Free WiFi is available in all Chalets. Pets are not permitted.

The spacious bathroom has a shower and a separate bubble bath which is perfect to relax and unwind. The kitchenette is equipped with modern Miele appliances and fitted out with everything you need to be fully self sufficient. A Miele washing machine and dryer are also located within each chalet. From your private deck you can enjoy a night in watching the kangaroos graze outside your chalet whilst enjoying a fabulous bottle of Margaret River Region wine.

Chalet 8 is our One Bed Accessible King Chalet. It contains all the features of the One Bed King Chalets, with seperate wheelchair accessible bathroom. The shower has a fold-down shower bench and rails. The toilet is wheelchair accessible, with rails. The handbasins are configured to be wheelchair accessible. Please note this chalet does not feature a spa bath. A luxuriously appointed living area is furnished with a two-seater sofa, dining table and chairs, and a large flat screen TV. Hear sounds of the bush from the king size bed. The European style kitchen has modernity at its heart, with appliances and equipment suited to cosy nights in. If a meal seems like too much, the private deck is sundowner-set with an outdoor setting and small barbecue.

Our rammed earth Two Bedroom Queen Bed Chalets compliment the natural bushland they are set in. With a Queen Bed as standard in both the Master Bedroom and the second bedroom. These Chalets come with an open style kitchen equipped with modern appliances and fitted out with everything you need to compliment your self-contained stay. A gas log fire adds atmosphere to the cozy, spacious living and dining area that features a large Flat Screen TV. All Chalets come with a large family sized bathroom with a large bath and either a separate shower or shower over the bath. Slide open the glass doors and enjoy your private veranda with views across the retreat with a choice of the lake, neighbouring vineyard or forest. Every chalet has its own barbeque and outdoor seating, great for entertaining and relaxing.

This beautiful Four Bedroom Residence is a fully equipped house for you and your family consisting of 3 Bedrooms with King Beds and an additional Bedroom with Queen Bed and Bunk Beds All bedrooms contain either a walk in robe or wardrobe and the Master Bedroom comes with an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, spa, vanity and lavatory. The Residence comes with a large family sized kitchen, featuring granite work tops and all the amenities to compliment your stay. The comfortable living area comes with modular sofa and a large flat screen TV with Foxtel. It can accommodate an additional 2 people with use of the pull out Sofa Bed (additional fees apply). With a seperate dining room with a 12 seat dining room table it is perfect for family or private dinners. The Residence also comes with a spacious guest bathroom has a walk in shower, vanity and lavatory. The Residence also comes with a laundry with washing machine and tumbledryer and storage. With a private balcony and small garden with an outdoor setting and large BBQ The Residence is the perfect escape. The Residence is strictly Non-Smoking.

Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
Deposit Policy:
On confirmation of your reservation, a deposit equal to 50% of, the total amount of the reservation, or one nights accommodation, plus the total value of any additional extras ordered then will be charged to your credit card as a guarantee for your reservation.
The remaining balance will be deducted from your credit card fourteen (14) days prior to arrival.
Failure to pay the balance prior to check in will result in cancellation of your booking.
A non-refundable credit card surcharge of 2% applies to all card payments.
For any reservations made for Public Holidays; December 23rd, January 31st or EVENT DATES, a deposit of 100% of the total amount due for the reservation will be deducted when making your reservation. This deposit will be non-refundable.
All rates at the time of booking are correct, current, and cannot be changed under any circumstances once the booking has been made.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation of a booking will need to be received by Eight Willows Retreat fourteen (14) days prior to the arrival date (based on a 2.00pm check-in). Any cancellation received after this period will be charged 50% of the total amount of the reservation or one nights accommodation (based on whichever amount is greater) plus the total value of any additional extras ordered.
A reservation date can be changed up to seven (7) days prior to the arrival date (based on a 2.00pm check-in), rates are subject to change with the reservation move.
If reservation is moved outside of Fourteen (14) days reservation will become a non-refundable reservation once changed.
Any refunds will be paid to the guests nominated credit card provided when making the reservation or by EFT transfer to a nominated bank account.
Bookings made by any person under the age of 18 are not permitted and will be cancelled.

Directions
Eight Willows Retreat is situated on Metricup Road 20 minutes North of Margaret River and 20 minutes South of Busselton and Dunsborough. From Bussell Highway, turn right onto Metricup Road (you will see a little church on the corner) and you will find Eight Willows Retreat approximately 3km down Metricup Road on the right hand side. Look for the Eight Willows Retreat signs.

Fantastic place to visit
These chalets were so unexpected, you could easily stay here for a week. We stayed four nights. They had a fully equipped kitchen, oven, cook top, dishwasher, microwave, and a full-size refrigerator, as well as plenty of pans etc,There is also a BBQ on the outside deck.
It is a quiet oasis, kangaroos hopping by, as well as native birds and plants.
The king size bed is very comfortable, the bathroom exceptional with a spa bath and large shower. There is also a washing machine and dryer in a separate cupboard. Plenty of hanging space.
A home away from home.
The staff is very helpful and personable. We will definitely come back again if we are in the area, and will not hesitate to recommend it to friends.
It is ideally situated in the wine region, with several vineyards and cellar doors within a kilometre. Very pleasant outlook and grounds
Superb
We came down to the south-west to do some wedding planning and stayed here. The view of the vineyards by day and Roos at night was gorgeous. The place was impeccably clean, the bath towels lush and had a beautiful bathroom. Would definitely recommend staying here.Good value
Efficient and pleasant service from time of booking and right through our stay. Comfortable, clean, spacious rooms with all we needed for a 5-night stay as two couples. Convenient location from where we visited between Busselton, Dunsborough and around Margaret River area. Enjoyed several walks around the bush setting. Self-contained accommodation and quiet location.
