Description

The brewery which opened in December 2006 currently has five beers available on tap including Cowaramup Pilsener, Hefeweizen, Special & India Pale Ales and Cowaramup Stout.

The venue itself consists of the brewhouse, bar and restaurant with shaded decking and beautiful beer garden overlooking the surrounding rural area and a small dam. The brewery is family orientated with a children's playground that can easily be seen from all areas. There is also ample area for a friendly game of Footy or Cricket, Petaque or Jenga - which ever you prefer!!

Nine varieties of hops are also grown on site and some of these hops are used to produce the beers.

Cowaramup Brewing Company also provide the opportunity to participate in a behind the scenes tour of the brewery (Wed & Fri 11am) in which the brewing process will be explained in detail. The tour will be followed by a tasting of each of the excellent Cowaramup ales and lagers which will be matched with a tasty menu item. The assistant brewer will explain the key to beer and food pairing.

The restaurant at the brewery seats around 80 people inside with seating for a further 60 on the beautiful wooden deck. The deck is shaded in the summer and offers great views across the licensed lawn area to the native gardens and small dam.

The views extend to rolling pasture and the adjoining Treeton Estate Winery. There is also a clear view to the children's play area so parents can relax and enjoy their meal. The licensed lawn area is defined by borders of native flowers and grasses and can comfortably seat another 70 guests.

The Cowaramup Brewery has a restaurant which focuses on excellent local produce. The menu includes a range of gourmet pizzas as well other delicious favourites including our Pilsener Battered Fish & Chips, Brewery Cheeseburger, Seafood Crepe, Thai Chicken Curry and Vegetarian Cannelloni. Our signature dish is the Cowaramup Special Pizza which is topped with venison chorizo, sun dried tomatoes, roasted capsicum mushrooms, olives and garnished with spring onions and barbecue sauce.

Great beer and pizza
Had lunch here and tried the beer sampling set and pizza. We were given a few different tasting beers in small portion and it was refreshing to drink as the bitterness and malt level of each beer was different. The pizza was delicious and the beautiful setting of the restaurant makes the whole experience up another notch.

Well done will come back again!

Great value for money!!
When we lived in Busselton we went all over the place to different breweries and wine tastings. Cowaramup was our favourite because they seem to have that balance between atmosphere and value for money and they were family friendly.
It was our favourite place to go out for a drive and have lunch out on the weekend.
