Coral Coast locations
Carnarvon
Situated at the mouth of the Gascoyne River, a major Banana growing area with sub-tropical weather providing ideal growing conditions. Try some fresh local fruits including mangoes at one of the local plantations and visit the Blowholes.
Cervantes
Gateway town to the world famous Pinnacles limestone formations, a sandy coastal desert resembling an ancient world. An easy drive from Perth on the Indian Ocean Drive. Lovely coastal scenery and a great fishing spot.
Coral Bay
A remote town situated on the southern fringe of the Ningaloo Coral Reef with an exceptionally beautiful bay and unspoilt beach. The coral reef is metres from the beach, great for snorkelling, diving and fishing. The coral reef here is stunning.
Denham
Gorgeous and relaxing, with beautiful beaches and clear blue waters, Denham is a great gateway for the surrounding tourist areas.
Dongara
Lovely twin towns on the mouth of River Irwin with a charming coastal atmosphere.
Exmouth
Enjoys pleasant, sub-tropical weather which supports the world famous Ningaloo Coral Reef, stretching 260km around the North West Cape. Diving and fishing are favourite activities here. Don't miss a swim with the Whale Sharks.
Geraldton
The largest city and port in the region with all the cultural, entertainment and shopping facilities of a city but with the relaxed feel of a country town. A favourite winter tourist resort. Discover carpets of Australian wildflowers in season.
Jurien Bay
The main coastal hub of the Turquoise Coast. A fantastic short break destination.
Kalbarri
Situated at the mouth of the Murchison River on the Indian Ocean, on arrival you will be captivated by the beauty and family activities on offer. A scenic location on the West Coast with river gorges, wildflowers and rugged coast.
Monkey Mia
A protected marine park and a popular tourist destination. Famed for the frequent and regular appearance of dolphins to the shallows.
