Description
Chestnut Brae is an award winning 70 acre sustainable, regenerative, certified organic sweet chestnut farm. Fresh Chestnuts are available for both door sales and Pick Your Own during April and May each year.
Sweet chestnut products, including gluten free organic chestnut flour, peeled frozen vac packed chestnuts and jarred chestnut products are available year round until sold out.
Chestnut fed, pasture raised heritage pork is available from early June until sold out. All of our bacon, sausages and ham are nitrate free and gluten free. All of our smoked products are naturally smoked on chestnut wood.
Daffodils grow under the chestnut trees and are available for sale (or pick your own) during August/September.
The garden is part of the Organic Garden Trail, is an Open Garden for Festival of Country Gardens, Nannup Flower & Garden Festival and Bloomin Wild.

Directions
From Nannup travel south on Vasse Highway towards Pemberton. After the Nannup Vasse Highway turnoff travel 9 kms (our sign is on the roadside) turn left into Chalwell Road, drive for 3 kms then turn right into McKittrick Road and follow the Chestnut signs 1 km to our farm sign at our front gate. Come through the gate, please close it after you. DO NOT use GPS it might lead you astray. Please phone ahead for appointments.

Beautiful area and welcoming hostsIt has everything we need and more
We loved our stay at Chestnut Brae. It was relaxing, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Our host John and Linda were very nice and friendly. On one of the day, John took us on a tour of their Chestnut farm which was very informative and inspiring. The farmhouse was very comfortable for us 5 adults and 4 children. I really appreciate the clean beddings and comfortable bed, with complete kitchen equipment and utensil which allowed me to cook and stick to our special dietary requirements. Thank you very much, John and Linda, for allowing us to stay at your place.A great, relaxing getaway
Our hosts John and Linda are friendly and welcoming. The surrounding of the farm is picturesque and peaceful which made our stay at the farm very relaxing. The farm tour was very interesting and educational for adults and kids alike. We highly recommend trying John and Linda's chestnut fed pork as they are a premium quality marbled meat, yum! Thank you for the unique experience :)
